Scheduled Ferry are the cheapest method to travel between Krabi and Phi Phi. They take about 2 hours and run every day all year round. The crossing is normally fairly smooth, although it can get a little bit choppy during April and September to October.

A Private Speedboats between Krabi and Phi Phi Island or Phuket offer the greatest convenience when travelling between the two destinations; although they are more expensive compared to the scheduled ferry, they are much less so with a larger group size. Also, transfer is possible at any time you wish during the day, without being crowded onto a large ship. After reaching your destination, you are then transferred directly to your hotel by Private Minibus.

Your driver will be waiting for you just outside the main entrance and will be holding a sign with YOUR NAME on it.
There will be lots of other drivers waiting to collect other guests so just remember you are on holiday and take your time until you see your name.
Once you see the driver holding your name, you can identify yourself and present him with your transfer voucher. No additional payment is required but feel free to tip the drivers at the end of your journey if you want.
